Mississippi State Bulldogs
The Mississippi State University Bulldogs football program represents Mississippi State University in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, competing as a member of the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference. It has produced 38 All-Americans, 171 All-SEC selections, and 124 NFL players. The Bulldogs play in Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. The facility is the second-oldest football stadium in NCAA FBS football. The current capacity is 55,082. Typical to most SEC stadiums, Davis Wade Stadium has extensive landscaping done around the playing field. The largest attendance in a game at the stadium is 57,178 which occurred on October 24, 2009 during the MSU vs. Florida contest. |
