Iowa State Cyclones The Iowa State Cyclones represent Iowa State University in college football. The Cyclones competes in the northern division of the Big 12 athletic conference in the NCAA's Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. The Iowa State Cyclones play home games in Jack Trice Stadium, a stadium named after a player who fatally succumbed to injuries incurred while playing for the Cyclones in 1923. The Cyclones are based out of Ames, Iowa. The stadium is currently under a major renovation which will include dozens of new luxury suites, broad new concourses, and bowling in the south end-zone. |
